CyberCops: Air Dogs User Survey

Sample:

  • English and French Grade 8 educators and community partners across Ontario

Findings:

  • 91% of educators rated the response of their Grade 8 students to CyberCops: Air Dogs as positive.
  • 100% of respondents felt CyberCops: Air Dogs raised their Grade 8 students' awareness about their personal safety associated with Internet use.
  • 94% of educators indicated that their overall ability to teach their students about risks and safety issues associated with Internet use was increased by CyberCops: Air Dogs.

"In what way(s) do you feel that CyberCops: Air Dogs is successful in helping Grade 8 students learn about Internet safety?"

  • "This is the computer age. So anything using this teaching method is definitely effective with youth."
  • "The Air Dogs program is an excellent resource while developing a new Internet Safety program for our Grade 7 & 8 students."

CyberCops: Mirror Image User Survey

  • English and French Grade 7 teachers across Ontario

Findings:

  • 95% of respondents rated the response of their Grade 7 students to CyberCops: Mirror Image as positive.
  • 100% of respondents felt CyberCops: Mirror Image helped their Grade 7 students develop problem-solving and decision-making skills regarding their personal safety associated with Internet use.
  • 100% of respondents felt that CyberCops: Mirror Image made it easier for them to meet the curriculum requirements for Health and Physical Education in the area of Personal Safety and Injury Prevention.
