Ophea (Ontario Physical and Health Education Association) is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to supporting schools and communities through quality program supports, partnerships and advocacy. Ophea is led by the vision that all kids will value, participate in, and make a lifelong commitment to healthy active living.

Beliefs
Ophea is guided by the following belief statements which serve as values and guiding principles in the strategic focus, mission, and core business of the organization:
- We believe that physical activity, physical literacy and health literacy are essential to overall health and well-being.
- We believe that schools and communities are integral to building the capacity of all children and youth to lead healthy active lives and reach their full potential
- We believe that entire school communities—students, parents, teachers, administrators, Boards, public health, sport and recreation, community coalitions, businesses, and governments—share responsibility to support and enhance healthy active living for all children and youth.
- We believe in a community development approach to ensure full and fair access to opportunities for healthy active living in all of Ontario's diverse communities.
- We believe that it is essential to engage the voice of children and youth.
- We believe partnerships, characterized by mutual benefit, respect, shared responsibility and open communication are fundamental to achieving our vision.
- We believe that positive role models who exhibit passion, integrity, professionalism, a commitment to healthy active living, joint effort and partnerships are necessary to achieving our goals.
