Understanding how to teach games isn’t exactly child’s play. But after you complete this active workshop, it will probably feel that way. At the end of this session, you’ll learn about Teaching Games for Understanding’s four game categories and how these skills and strategies are transferable between a wide range of activities and games. You’ll also come out with an understanding of the connections between TGfU and the Ontario H&PE curriculum. This will allow you to apply the approach to your H&PE class including planning, assessment and evaluation. Who knew learning could be all fun and games?
