Growing Healthy Places is for Peel Region elementary & middle schools!
Growing Healthy Places is designed to support school-aged children (ages 6–13) in the City of Mississauga, particularly those living in underserved urban areas where food insecurity is common and there’s limited access to spaces for physical activity.
Elementary and middle schools in the Peel District School Board are invited to apply if they:
- Have a minimum of 120 students aged 6–13
- Can commit to the project term (June 2025–December 2027)
- School population consists of students from underserved communities (SVI > 3)
