Instructions

Standing

Pretend you are climbing a mountain while standing in one spot. Step up with your left foot as you reach up with your right arm; then step up with your right foot as you reach up with your left arm. Repeat this “climbing” action.

Seated

Start by sitting with feet together and safely planted on the ground. Back is straight and knees directly above your ankles. Pretend you are climbing a mountain while sitting in one spot. Lift up with your left knee as you reach up with your right arm; as the left knee and right arm lower back down then lift up with your right knee as you reach up with your left arm. Repeat this “climbing” action.
