This video is the first of a two-part series in which educators share their responses to questions about Vaping Education.
After viewing this video educators will have a greater understanding of “why” it is important to have conversations about vaping with elementary students at different stages of their development, and where vaping may be addressed in the elementary Health and Physical Education curriculum. Educators will acquire a greater awareness of how to make connections to the Social-Emotional Learning Skills, and effective strategies for creating safer and more inclusive spaces when engaging students in conversations about vaping. In addition, available resources are shared to help educators determine their next steps in building their confidence and competence to address the topic of vaping.
