This video is the second in a two part series in which educators share their response to questions about Vaping Education.
After viewing this video educators will acquire a deeper understanding of what it means to adopt a harm reduction approach, and how it may be used to create safer and more inclusive spaces when talking about vaping. Educators will also deepen their understanding of how to integrate the Social-Emotional Learning Skills into vaping education for elementary students at different stages of their development, and effective teaching strategies to build students’ knowledge and skills to respond to situations involving vaping. Available supports are shared to help educators determine their next steps in building their confidence and competence to address the topic of vaping.
